GIST: DR DRE PUMPS A WHOOPING $70MILLION IN USC

 The all time rapper and business mogul donated 70million dollars to train “and inspire a new generation of innovators'. the money was donated under the platform of a program titled USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation. Jimmy Iovine who is also a music executive was said to have pumped in hundreds of millions.

The academy will begin enrolling 25 students to its first class in the fall of 2014. The program seeks students who have an interest in marketing, business entrepreneurship, computer science and engineering, audio and visual design and the arts.
