Beautiful singer Lauryn Hill was in the news last month for being charged to court for tax evasion. Yesterday, she paid her overdue tax bill ,but she is still to do a 3months term in the federal pen.

she cited that she wasnt really planning to avoid paying her taxes but was just unable to pay during her self-imposed hiatus from show business. lauryn was also sentenced to an additional 3 months of home confinement to be served after she is released from prison.
