ITS A BOY FOR THE ROYAL HOUSEHOLD

The first child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Catherine, is on the way. Speculation is rife as to what name they will choose for the new arrival.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and husband Prince William today, welcomed their first child, a boy.
He was born at 4:24 p.m., weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces.
Kate and baby are both doing well and will remain in hospital overnight, said a spokesman for the palace.

The long-awaited baby will be given the title His Royal Highness and be known as Prince of Cambridge.
The baby's name may be announced when the family leaves the hospital.
