In a recent interview with soft sell Magazine City People, Chiedu Okoli popularly known as flavour nabania talked about music at his early age, relationship and limelight. read the interview below
On why does he sing mostly in igbo?
well Igbo is my root, i was born and brought up in the eastern part of nigeria,music is life, and igbo is a part of me, its in me, so when i want to express myself better i believe is the best way fot me.
On how did music start for him?
i always loved playing the drums as a kid in church so the love started from there, then i got a scholarship to study music and the love grew when i started performing on stage, though behind spot light i still enjoyed myself and i felt very happy doing it now its all i do.
On which album launched him to limelight which gave him his big break?
i cant really pin point one major thing or event, but after my first album titled nabania and with a couple of collaborations with the likes of late Mc loph,mi etc i started to gain more fans and more recognition'
On who is flavour?
flavour is a guy eho is very passionate about music, he is God fearing, and he is a typical igbo man.
On who is the babe in his life?
{he laughs} right now there is no babe in my life, officially. i am still looking for the right one.shey you see ehn he is single.officially!!!!... hehehe
