KOKO'S DIARY: 5MONTHS BLOGGING AND ME

Since say 2011,I used to wake up every morning to linda Ikeji's blog then hit up the day with ladun and then Miss petite Nigeria just to stay informed with the celebrity gists and lifestyle. Sometimes my late mum would scream and scream my name and I would just play deaf until I was done reading their gists.(Yes it was that bad) I later heard about Laila's blog and it was immediately bookmarked to my phone web. I have always wanted a piece of the celebrity life and bloggers were giving it to me with ease. I would read Emeh(Miss Petite Nigeria)'s bloggers diary and marvel at what wonderful writeups she made out and I would wish I could also have a platform to write mine(outside writing for wow magazine) and get people to read and air their views... I would also always find myself following up the stories I read by either searching them up on social medias or Google... You can say I was jobless but these things didn't even take time, I could lay on my bed and immediately find myself far gone with the web!Internet and google!! My very good friends!it was so bad that I would wait for my cousin Ashiedu to sleep and steal her fone to browse cause MTN was better in our house then during nysc and I was still loyal to glo. Today she visits blogs and she can't deny it was my fever that caught her.lol
One particular day last year I read. about Nse etim's wedding to her childhood sweetheart and immediately I went to search out facts of the mystery man! Hehehe yes I was jobless Nysc was boring for me(was serving in nassarawa) so surfing the net was all I called fun!(Yes I am boring like that) I found the guy on facebook and I saw that he had pictures with one particular young boy! I read the comments and realised the guy was his son, when will these blogs I follow post this gist??? I waited and waited and it took Ladun almost a week to post it before linda followed. I was like I really can do this blogging, forget the copy and paste part of it, its your hunger for gist and entertaining people that counts. If You are the type of person to sit and judge its fine,start judging me you are also contributing... At least you want to know that is why you click the links. Jummy will always tell me then, Isy you can start up a blog, we will start it together, we can measure up all we need and basically put the blog to run. First we taught to make up a personal blog, but I felt no need to do anything personal cause facebook and twitter was enough detailing and personal blogs were not really moving in this part of the world, the public was and still is hungry for gossip and gist about people they already know.
Nysc finally came to an end in february of 2013, and I kept pushing and pushing actually the word is procrastinating till one day I finally decided it was time to play alittle.That was how we gathered our resources together and started this blog. I met my friend and fellow blogger Obinna(ob9ja) and begged him to put me through on the admin part of it. He helped me construct the blog to my taste and that was it! From 5000 views in the first one week to almost 500k views in 5months...slowly but surely the blog has been growing. Whenever I check and saw one comment I get this chills that someone actually has something to say, good or bad you sha said something so its fine.... Whatever your opinion it still shows that you visited heehehe and for that I am grateful. I won't deny though that the first insult I got on the blog really got to me! I called jummy immediately and she just allowed me vent! Then when I finished she told me to gather myself together and not forget that even the big girls in the blogsphere get hurtful comments so I shouldn't be sad about it!... So here I am people....still blogging and enjoying it, the nights I wouldn't sleep trying to update before morning, the mornings I would wake up really late and make breakfast for my dad by 2pm(hides face) or the times I would just forget that there is a life outside looking at my screen waiting for gists to fly by, I am still standing. My bestfriend, my brother,my dad,my sweet friends and family who gave out their pages to feed out my blog posts... God bless you all. My ever amazing viewers and blog visitors... Thanks a lot!!! I am not there yet but I will try hard enough to keep you entertained!!!
