Yay!!!!! Happy Ist Anniversary to the Blog!!!!

Just like yesterday,I had just finished serving in nassarawa state and arrived back to my base in lagos when Jummy told me ' Isy you can own and run a blog, you have what it takes and slowly you could grow the blog to become a big name'

I had no laptop at that point cause mine got stolen, I had no Internet connection, just my God, my bestfriend and my dad's abandoned Mtn Internet stick with no connection.

My dad saw that I was depressed with trying to get a laptop and one day when I got home, he gave me one. It wasn't a mac book or anything of sort but it could make do for what I needed it for and I was grateful.

I walked straight to the Mtn office in my area and after checking through their Internet bundles, I paid for the 7500 data plan and all that was left was tracking down my friends Ob9ja.com and Pancras to help build and structure the blog. The Internet was so slow that it got me another stage of depression. Till I finally settled for Glo.

It took me about a week before I got the blog to an ok stage then I had to learn how to post and edit and everything that came with blogging.


I had the date in my head to start up the blog on the first of April. But I still had plenty things to set up so I moved it to may.


I opened a dummy blog to learn how to post and make all the mistakes, I was like a kid with a new toy, I would write all the rubbish in my head and then post it cause I knew no one else could see it.


Fast forward about 30days later everything was settled for me to start blogging, then I did my first real and official post, This is it!!

To my surprise I got 5000 views in the first 5 days. My bbm friends then were in trouble cause I was always updating and having my friends update the blog name and links to my posts. I immediately started following all the hit celebrities and was like a watch dog on their every move.

I hardly slept at night for over 1 month cause the Internet I had was only very fast at night when the Internet waves were abit free.

Then my bestfriend and boyfriend would take turns to call me all through the night to keep me awake even though we were in different time zones.

I had heavy eye bags to deal with but at that point I wasn't even bothered.

Then I would get one or two comments on the blog and it would feel like I had won a lottery. Anytime I opened the admin, I would see over 1thousand views in one day then it gradually increased to over 1.1million views as I write.

The first day someone insulted me on the blog, I actually called jummy and was crying on the phone lol, it wasn't a joke or a toy anymore, I had actual viewers and blog readers so I had to be on double check. I still am not there yet but I'm better than when I started and this is what we pray for. To be better than our yesterday.


So cheers to the days when you blog visitors would insult me for posting Angela Okorie stories, Yvonne Nelson's pictures, daniella okeke, Uche Ogbodo lol those days were amazing. But shey Una see Angela is making hit news now oo!!!!!

Even the days of posting pictures twice to fill the space for lack of gist!!! Lol
